Terms and Conditions


Our terms and conditions as stated will become a legal and binding contract once we receive full payment for the goods that you order from us, Belle Vue Blinds/ukblinds e-commerce website.

Full payment is required at the time of ordering in advance of supplying your goods. All the prices shown are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.

The blinds we sell are made to your precise requirements, it is your responsibility to give us the correct measurements, and we recommend that you double check your measurements. Please be aware that once your order has been placed and accepted, the measurements cannot be amended. It is industry standard that blinds are produced with a tolerance of =/- 5mm.Blinds within this tolerance will not be replaced or refunded.

We reserve the right to cancel your order if:

a)      We have insufficient stock to deliver your order

b)      We do not deliver to your area

c)       One or more of the goods ordered were listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers or by us.



We will deliver the goods ordered by you to the address you stated to us at the time of ordering. Your new blinds will be delivered to you by courier. Delivery times are normally Monday – Friday between 7.30am – 5.30pm. No specific times or days can be requested. The delivery times given do not apply during busy times of the year e.g. Bank holidays and Christmas.

On delivery, the goods must be inspected and any damages signed for on the couriers’ paperwork. The goods inside might not be damaged and so we ask that they be inspected as well. Any goods that are signed for “damaged” must be reported back to us within       days. We might also require photographical evidence of any issues reported.

If you are out when the goods are delivered, the courier will leave a card with contact information on it for you to arrange a new free re-delivery time. If you do not contact the courier within    days to arrange re-delivery, your goods will be returned and will only be sent out again after a re-delivery charge has been paid.

Events beyond our control

We will not have any liability to you for any loss, damage and /or expense (including loss of profit) for failure to deliver goods that you have ordered or for any delay in doing so, or for any damage or defect to the goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including without limitation, strikes, lock outs and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, flood, fire, accident, explosion or extreme weather.



Faulty goods

In the unlikely event of you receiving faulty goods from us, we will arrange with you to examine the goods and if they are found to be defective, we shall repair or replace them. This does not apply where the defect or fault has been caused by your misuse, fitting, neglect or any accidents caused while the goods are in your possession. Any fault or defect has to be reported to us after the goods are delivered and inspected by you within   7    days.


All the information that we request and take from you will be used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We will not store your details and we will not offer them to any third party.

Our products

Our products may be named differently from the goods received from the manufacturer. Please refer to your samples to compare the colours and textures. The colours /textures are to be used as a general guide and will depend on your screen settings, therefore FOC samples are recommended. A maximum of 5 FOC samples will be offered. We reserve the right to change specifications at any time.


Wood is a natural product and the grain and shade will vary from batch to batch. It is a natural characteristic for some warping to occur. A refund will not be given for any of these reasons.

Black-out roller blinds

If you have requested your blind to be recess, therefore sitting inside your window reveal, please be aware that there will be a nominal amount of light that will show around the edges,  as the fabric will not go to the ends of the roller tube.
